Mental Health First Aid For Youth Church Community (Kalimpong)

A supportive and insightful space where our youth explored emotional well-being, learned to recognize signs of distress, and built practical skills to care for themselves and others with empathy, awareness, and a strong sense of community.

The Mental Health First Aid workshop helped teachers reflect on their mental health, explore common concerns, and identify personal needs. It also highlighted profession-specific challenges, support channels, and practical self-care strategies. While our Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) In The Class-

room focused on understanding developmental milestones and classroom challenges through the lens of SEL. Educators explored the RULER model and practical strategies to support emotional awareness, regulation, and connection, fostering meaningful growth in students.

Teen Mental Health First Aid

Adolescence brings big changes - academic, social, and family pressures can cause stress and anxiety.
This workshop offered a safe space for teens to reflect, share, and explore tools like grounding, breathing, comfort kits, and calming strategies to support their mental well-being.

Once Upon A Feeling (SEL)

An engaging introduction to social-emotional learning through stories like The Colour Monster and Bucket Filler & Dipper. Children explored emotions and kindness through a blend of art, games, and simple reflective questions, making learning both fun and meaningful.

In a warm, mixed-age setting, children explored emotions and kindness through The Colour Monster and Bucket Filler & Dipper. The workshop combined stories, art, games, and reflection to introduce SEL in a playful, engaging way. A parent-child activity added a meaningful touch, turning learning into a shared experience.

Community Mental Health First Aid

This brought young adults together to openly discuss common mental health struggles like stress, anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts. Through reflection, conversation, and shared tools, they learned how to support others while staying in tune with their own well-being.

SEL in The Classroom

The Mental Health First Aid workshop gently guided teachers to reflect on their own well-being, recognize common emotional challenges, and better understand their personal needs. It also offered tools for navigating 

profession-specific stress and simple self-care practices to

In Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) in the Classroom, educators explored how to better understand student development and classroom dynamics through an SEL perspective. Using the RULER model, the session introduced approachable strategies to nurture emotional awareness, regulation, and stronger connections in the classroom.

Together, we explored ways to offer and seek support, accessed useful resources, and gained a deeper understanding of SEL; what it truly means and how to bring it to life in everyday classroom moments

A committed group of educators took part in our Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) in the Classroom workshop. Sessions focused on understanding student development and classroom dynamics through an SEL lens. Participants explored SEL frameworks and discussed applying them to support diverse behaviours and foster emotional well-being.

Moving Into The New Year

With the help of the generous donations received from all the wonderful people, MindSpeak and Sarva Sewa Trust were able to come together and organize a fun-filled New Year get-together for many underprivileged children.

Our Emotional World

The children of Sarva Sewa Trust, Defence Colony were introduced to their inner emotional world. Through various activities, they also learned about the connection between thoughts, emotions and behaviours.

Stress Management Workshop

We all suffer from stress time to time. A stress management workshop was held at Delhivery, Head Office, Gurugram. Activities and discussions were based around stress, stressors and dealing with stress effectively. 

Counselling Internship

Through role plays, case discussions and self-reflective activities, the interns were introduced to the concept of counselling, types and its process. 

Emotionally Intelligent Parenting Techniques Through Understanding of Attachment Theories

Parents of Early Learning Village School, Gurugram, were equipped with an understanding of the role of healthy attachments in parent-child relationships, learning certain parenting tips to form secure attachments with their child.

Mental Health: An Introductory Session

A session emphasizing the importance of mental health was conducted for the students of Plaksha University, Gurugram. As an initiative to promote mental health, Plaksha partnered with MindSpeak to provide counselling services to their students.

Emotional Wellness Workshop

A fun and informative workshop was held for the employees of Delhivery, Gurugram.
