Consultant Clinical Psychologist

Meet Leenoor L. Foning

Founder, Psychotherapist

A Counselling psychologist trained in the United Kingdom, having both BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and COSCA (Counselling and Psychotherapy Scotland) accredited degrees. She is a registered member of BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and BPS (British Psychological Society).

Leenoor has 15 years of experience in therapeutic work in London, Scotland and India, in various organizational settings such as schools, NGOs, private clinics and the National Health Services (NHS) UK. Within these settings she has worked with a varied population of clients and has worked with vulnerable adults, teenagers, young children as well as families. Her expertise lies in the area of mental health issues such as depression (including prenatal & postnatal depression), anxiety, stress, trauma (including PTSD) etc. Her practice modality is predominantly “Person Centered” but she also includes elements of “Psychodynamic”, “Cognitive Behavioural Therapy” as well as “Play therapy” when required. She specialises in one-to-one counselling sessions, group therapies, as well as trainings and workshops.
In addition to this, Leenoor has also worked extensively with children with special needs. She has worked in various organizations in London and Edinburgh, and most recently has been associated with Vasant Valley School, New Delhi as a special needs education consultant. Leenoor is an expert at understanding a child’s social and emotional needs, and helps incorporate this into the child’s IEP (Individualized Educational Plan).

Meet Jasmine Takhellambam

Psychologist

A Master’s in Clinical Psychology, Jasmine has previously interned at various settings including hospitals (Fortis, VIMHANS), private clinics (Mindspeak, Resonate Psychological Services, Mandala in Dehradun) and NGOs (Saksham Bal Vikas Sanstha, Society for Promotion of Youth & Masses). During this period, she had an opportunity to interact and work with individuals belonging to different age groups and distinct concerns.
Additionally, she has also completed an Advanced Child Counselling Certificate Course which explored using different creative tools to understand children’s inner world. She also received additional training from LIFE UNIVERSITY (Compassionate Integrity Training) where she engaged in group discussions, mindful dialogues and other exercises to develop skills related
to self and other (compassion, emotional awareness, forgiveness and gratitude etc.).

She is currently engaged in providing mental health care and support to those who seek help. In addition to this, she is also actively involved in conducting EQ & YOU classes for children; a social-emotional learning program developed at MindSpeak.

Meet Vidisha Vig

Jr. Psychologist

With a Masters in Clinical Psychology, Vidisha has interned at hospitals, corporates, NGO's and private clinics. She has a keen interest in working with mental  health problems of adolescents and young adults. She enjoys working with different software, reading and writing in her spare time.

Meet Ms. J Das

Consultant Clinical Psychologist

A clinical psychologist with APA (American Psychological Association) accredited training in cognitive-behaviour therapy, Ms. Das is currently working with the Special Needs Department at a prestigious school in Delhi. She has over 15 years of experience in the field of Psychology, especially centered on working with children and adolescents, in diverse setups ranging from hospitals, psychiatric centers, support groups, private clinics, to schools and NGO’s; both in India and the United States. Having worked with children from different countries, various cultural backgrounds, she strongly believes that the core processes of childhood and adolescence are universal and are key to healthy social and emotional development. She currently devotes her time in helping MINDSPEAK develop and deliver workshops.
